Job Description / Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain all local export documentation, including Proforma Invoice (PI), Sales Contract (SC), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Exchange and Transaction Certificate (TC) in accordance with customer agreements and LC/SC terms.
- Collect Export Sales Contracts (SC) and Letters of Credit (LC) from the Buyer/Merchant Team and complete lien formalities with the respective banks.
- Liaise with banks and customers regarding LC amendments, party acceptance, bank acceptance, document discrepancies, and payment realization.
- Monitor export proceeds realization, bank acceptance, maturity schedules, and customer payments to ensure timely collection and settlement.
- Issue and maintain EXP forms through the Bangladesh Bank Online Monitoring System and submit duplicate EXP reports as required.
- Follow up with EPZ customers regarding payment acceptance, negotiation and realization of export proceeds.
- Coordinate with Planning, Operations, SCM, Production, Finance and MCD to ensure smooth execution of export operations.
- Maintain regular communication with buyers, banks, C&F agents, customs authorities, and other relevant regulatory bodies to facilitate commercial activities.
- Maintain and update daily commercial registers, MIS reports, payment trackers in the ERP system and management reports with proper documentation and record keeping.
- Perform any other commercial, banking, export-related, or compliance responsibilities assigned by the Head of Commercial.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline.
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments Accessories
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 25 years
- Practical experience in local export operations, banking procedures, and customer negotiations.
- Sound knowledge of Proforma Invoice (PI), Sales Contract (SC), Letter of Credit (LC) terms and conditions, and Bangladesh Bank regulations.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with banks, customers, and internal departments.
- Positive work ethics and result oriented.
- Good interpersonal skill & team work.
- Honest in communication and problem solving attitude.
