Project Manager -Civil Engineer

Job Description / Responsibility
- Supervise and manage civil construction activities including RCC, steel structures, finishing works, and external infrastructure as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure proper coordination between Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works during construction. Review and interpret structural, architectural, and MEP drawings and ensure proper implementation at site.
- Coordinate daily with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain smooth workflow.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure quality control of materials and construction practices according to project standards.
- Prepare project scheduling, tracking & monitoring project progress, and submitting regular project status reports to supervisor & line manager.
- Ensure compliance with BNBC, building codes, and workplace safety regulations.
- Alignment with construction related Govt authority (RAJUK,LGED & RHD)
- Prepare and maintain daily work plans, progress reports, site records, material consumption reports, and work schedules.
- Prepare & verify BOQ , cost estimation, and contractor bill.
- Ensure proper integration of MEP systems such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, within civil structures.
- Provide technical support during installation of mechanical and electrical equipment within the building infrastructure.
- Monitor building infrastructure during the production / operational phase to ensure
- structural safety, drainage efficiency, ventilation, and operational suitability.
- Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of civil structures, drainage systems, roads, and building finishes.
- Support facility management in repair, renovation, and structural improvement works. Participate in technical inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Manage project coordination meetings and share minutes & take action accordingly. Assist in preparing as-built drawings, project completion documents, and final handover reports.
- QA/QC : Special form work for fair face/As Cast experience.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
- Master of Science (MSc)
- Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology,Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology,Khulna University of Engineering and Technology,Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology students will get preference
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a recognized university (BUET, RUET, KUET, CUET, or equivalent).
Experience Requirements
- At least 12 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Building & Construction Materials, Engineering Firms, Group of Companies, Real Estate
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 30 years
- Only Male
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of BNBC, safety regulations, and construction quality control procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
- Ability to manage contractors, engineers, and multiple project activities efficiently.
