Job Description / Responsibility

COAST Foundation (www.coastbd.net) is a value based independent, non-profit and Non-Government Organization (NGO). COAST has also received the special consultative status of UN Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). COAST has a zero-tolerance policy regarding Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) by its staff and personnel against the people they serve or staff. If any candidate is found and proved allegation of sexual exploitation and abuse against children or women, their applications and recruitment process will be cancelled. A written acknowledgment has to be submitted mentioning that the candidate and his/her family will not commit and give any child marriage. The organization is seeking some internal staff for below positions for the project titled “Strengthening Human-Centered Innovation for Early Warning Systems and Disaster Risk Financing (SHIELD)” which is supported by Practical Action Bangladesh and funded by Swiss Re Foundation.

Additional Job Requirements

Experiences:
Minimum 5 years of experience of working in account and finance management Finance and Admin Officer in any NGO.
The candidate will be given preference having knowledge and experience in accounting and accurate financial practices, including cash management, financial disbursements, ledgers, VAT & TAX, all types of payment etc. and maintain all financial records.
The candidate should have experience on managing cash book, ledger book and others registers like stock register, inventory, fixed assets etc. Computer literacy (MS office, internet, email management etc.) are must.
