Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context:
- A reputed export-oriented garments manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented professional to lead its Administration and Logistics functions. The incumbent will be responsible for overall factory administration, transport management, security, customs & logistics operations, and government liaison activities.
- Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall Administration, Logistics, Transport, Security, Facility Management functions and corporate office.
- Ensure smooth operation of factory administration in compliance with BEPZA, labor laws, and company policies.
- Coordinate import-export logistics/documentation, customs clearance, bonded warehouse and freight forwarding activities.
- Liaise with BGMEA, BKMEA, BEPZA authorities, customs, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and government agencies.
- Oversee employee transportation, accommodation, canteen, housekeeping and utility support service/management.
- Manage contracts, vendor relationships, procurement support, and service agreements.
- Ensure effective security management and emergency response preparedness.
- Develop and implement administrative policies, procedures, and cost-control initiatives.
- Lead and develop departmental teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Handle crisis management, emergency response, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Job Location: Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone, North Patenga-Chattogram.
Educational Requirements
- Masters degree in any discipline
- Master`s degree from a reputed university.
Experience Requirements
- 15 to 20 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At most 55 years
- Experience Requirements
- 15–20 years of experience in Administration and Logistics functions.
- At least 5-7 years’ experience in a senior managerial role (AGM/DGM/GM level) in a reputed Garments/Textile industry.
- Experience working in BEPZA/EPZ environment will be highly preferred.
- Additional Requirements
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management capability.
- Sound knowledge of import-export procedures, customs regulations, and logistics management.
- Excellent liaison capability with government and regulatory bodies.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Age may be relaxed for highly qualified candidates.
- Must have good Communication/emailing & computer knowledge
