Housekeeping Team Leader

Job Description / Responsibility
- Grand Sultan Tea Resort & Golf, a leading five-star luxury resort in Bangladesh, invites applications from dynamic and service-oriented professionals to join our Housekeeping & Laundry Department.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house cleanliness, ensuring 5-star standards are consistently maintained.
- Inspect rooms and public areas regularly to ensure quality, hygiene, grooming, and presentation standards are met, taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Guide, train, and support housekeeping staff in cleaning procedures, chemical usage, safety protocols, and service standards.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure timely room readiness, maintenance, and guest requirements are fulfilled.
- Monitor inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing wastage.
- Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping efficiently while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction.
Educational Requirements
- Higher Secondary
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent. National Certificate Course (NCC) or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hotel, Resort
Additional Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader in a 5-star hotel or luxury resort.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of room cleaning procedures, public area maintenance, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to train and guide housekeeping staff effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- Team player with good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Appearance & Personality: Must be well-groomed, professional, and maintain a positive, disciplined attitude.
