Job Description / Responsibility

Job Context
YAMAAN is a fast-growing modern fashion and lifestyle brand looking for a competent and experienced Assistant Manager – Accounts, VAT & Tax to strengthen its Finance & Accounts team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing accounts, VAT, tax compliance, financial reporting, and regulatory matters while ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with Bangladesh laws.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and supervise daily accounting operations, including sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Ensure proper maintenance of ledgers, cash books, bank books, and supporting documents.
Prepare and submit VAT returns, Mushak reports, and related compliance documents.
Handle corporate tax matters, tax deductions at source (TDS), and tax return preparation.
Coordinate with auditors, VAT consultants, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, and customer accounts regularly.
Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Ensure compliance with applicable VAT, Tax, and financial regulations.
Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and decision-making.
Maintain ERP/accounting software records and generate required reports.
Perform any other finance and accounts-related tasks assigned by management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Finance & Banking
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Finance & Banking
CA CC/ Part Qualified

Experience Requirements

3 to 7 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Audit Firms /Tax Consultant, Financial Consultants

Additional Job Requirements

Age 25 to 35 years
Only Male
Strong communication skills.
Smart, presentable and self-motivated.
Proficiency in MS Office and online communication tools.
