Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Summary:
- We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to join our Head Office engineering team. The candidate will support senior engineers and project management teams in project coordination, drawing review, documentation, quantity checking, cost-related support, material planning, and communication with site teams. This position is suitable for fresh or early-career civil engineers who want to develop strong technical and project coordination experience in construction.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers and project managers in Head Office-based project coordination.
- Review architectural, structural, and civil drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare and maintain project documents, work progress records, reports, and technical files.
- Support quantity take-off, material calculation, BOQ checking, and basic estimation work.
- Assist in preparing material requisitions, comparison statements, and technical submissions.
- Follow up with project sites regarding daily progress, material requirements, and work status.
- Assist in checking project schedules, work plans, and progress updates.
- Support preparation of reports, presentations, method statements, and technical documents.
- Report project issues, delays, or technical concerns to senior engineers.
- Visit project sites when required for coordination, inspection, or progress verification.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed university.
- Graduates from reputed public or private engineering universities such as BUET, KUET, RUET, CUET, MIST, North South University (NSU), American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), and Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), or similar recognized institutions will be given preference.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant construction, engineering, or project coordination experience are encouraged to apply.
Experience Requirements

Additional Job Requirements
- Required Skills & Competencies:
- Basic knowledge of construction drawings, BOQ, estimation, quantity calculation, and project documentation.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of RCC, steel structure, finishing work, and general civil construction.
- Basic understanding of procurement, material planning, and cost estimation.
- Good skills in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prepare reports, maintain organized project records, and support technical documentation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills between Head Office and project site teams.
- Experience in factory building, commercial building, industrial, or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
- Good problem-solving attitude, sense of responsibility, discipline, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
