Job Description / Responsibility
- Maintain accurate records of yarn receipts, issues, transfers, and stock balances.
- Monitor daily yarn consumption against production plans and approved budgets.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and segregation of yarn by count, composition, color, lot, and supplier.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, Knitting, and Store departments to ensure timely yarn availability.
- Prepare and maintain yarn inventory reports, stock reconciliation reports, and consumption analyses.
- Track yarn shortages, excess stock, and slow-moving inventory and report to management.
- Verify yarn quality, quantity, and documentation during receipt from suppliers.
- Control yarn issuance to production according to approved requisitions and production requirements.
- Monitor yarn wastage and implement measures to reduce losses and improve efficiency.
- Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory control procedures, and audit requirements.
- Maintain ERP/System data related to yarn inventory and transactions accurately.
- Coordinate with procurement and merchandising teams regarding yarn requirements and delivery schedules.
- Prepare yarn utilization, balance stock, and production support reports for management review.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary inventory records and documentation.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and security within the yarn store area.
- Investigate and report inventory variances, damages, or losses promptly.
- Assist management in forecasting yarn requirements based on production plans and orders.

Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 30 years
- Only Male
- Strong knowledge of yarn counts, blends, dye lots, and sweater manufacturing processes.Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP inventory management systems.Good analytical, reporting, and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.Experience in yarn inventory control within a sweater manufacturing factory preferred.
