Job Description / Responsibility

Responsible for ensuring that electrical systems, equipment, and installations comply with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NFPA, BNBC 2020).
Conduct electrical compliance inspections of installations, equipment, and facilities.
Prepare and maintain compliance records, reports, certificates, and technical documentation.
Review electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations for compliance.
Ensure proper implementation of electrical safety measures such as grounding, protection systems, and lockout/tagout procedures.
Perform testing of electrical systems and equipment.
Ensure safe operation of switchgear, transformers, motors, MCCB, and distribution systems.
Conduct routine inspections of: Electrical panel, Transformer, HT/LT switchgear, Distribution boards, Generator, AVR, UPS system, Cable & cable trays.
Maintain Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Electrical load distribution, Test Reports, Inspection Reports.
Ensure production machines comply with electrical safety requirements.
Review machine electrical drawings, control panels, and protection systems.
Develop and monitor preventive maintenance/Inspection schedules for electrical equipment.
Create and modify electrical drawings (SLDs) using CAD software.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

Experience Requirements

3 to 7 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry)
