Job Description / Responsibility
- Project Planning and Development
- Prepare project concepts, feasibility studies, and development plans.
- Analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and site conditions.
- Assist in identifying project opportunities and development strategies.
- Feasibility and Technical Analysis
- Conduct technical, economic, and environmental feasibility assessments.
- Evaluate engineering risks and propose mitigation measures.
- Review geotechnical, topographical, and utility information.
- Design Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and consultants.
- Review preliminary and detailed engineering designs.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting
- Prepare preliminary cost estimates and project budgets.
- Support value engineering exercises to optimize project costs.
- Review quantities, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and cost analyses.
- Permits and Regulatory Compliance
- Assist in obtaining permits, approvals, and clearances from government authorities.
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations, environmental requirements, and safety standards.
- Procurement and Tender Support
- Prepare technical documents for tendering.
- Evaluate contractor and consultant proposals.
- Participate in vendor and contractor selection processes.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with clients, government agencies, consultants, contractors, and utility providers.
- Attend meetings and present technical project information.
- Project Monitoring
- Track project schedules, milestones, and development activities.
- Identify delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare progress reports and presentations for management.
- Risk Management
- Identify project risks related to design, cost, schedule, and construction.
- Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
- Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology students will get preference
- B.Sc in Civil Engineering
Experience Requirements
- 10 to 15 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Developer, Diagnostic Centre, Food (Packaged), Real Estate, Restaurant, Super store
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 30 to 40 years
- Civil engineering design and construction knowledge.
- Project management and scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Cost estimation and quantity surveying basics.
- AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and engineering software proficiency.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
