Job Description / Responsibility

Job Context:
A leading Sweater Manufacturing Factory is seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead its Commercial Department. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all import-export activities, customs and bond compliance, banking operations, shipping, and commercial team management while ensuring smooth business operations and regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage the entire Commercial Department.
Oversee all import, export, shipping, customs, bond, and UD operations.
Ensure compliance with BGMEA, Customs, Bond Commissionerate, Bangladesh Bank, and other regulatory requirements.
Manage LC opening, amendment, negotiation, and settlement processes.
Monitor UD balances, raw material consumption, and import-export documentation.
Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, banks, and government authorities.
Ensure timely shipment execution and resolve commercial-related issues.
Develop commercial policies, systems, and SOPs to improve operational efficiency.
Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management.
Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)

Experience Requirements

At least 10 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Buying House, Sweater Industry, Dyeing Factory

Additional Job Requirements

Age At least 30 years
Only Male
Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role heading a commercial department.
Extensive knowledge of LC, Customs, Bond, UD, Banking, Shipping, and Export-Import procedures.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
