Job Description / Responsibility

- Job Context
- The Celeste, a skincare brand of Beauty Booth Bangladesh, is seeking a dedicated and innovative R&D Chemist to develop and improve skincare products while ensuring quality standards throughout the production process. The selected candidate will be involved in product formulation, testing, quality control, and continuous product development.
- Job Responsibilities
- Develop and formulate skincare and personal care products.
- Research new ingredients and innovative formulations.
- Conduct product stability, compatibility, and performance tests.
- Prepare and maintain formulation records and technical documentation.
- Perform quality control checks on raw materials, bulk products, and finished goods.
- Investigate and resolve product quality issues.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure product consistency and compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure products meet regulatory and safety requirements.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry
- Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): E-commerce, E-commerce Startup
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Additional Job Requirements
- Sound knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and formulation processes.
- Understanding of QC procedures and laboratory practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- 2–5 years of experience in cosmetic, skincare, personal care, or pharmaceutical product formulation and quality control.
- Fresh candidates with strong academic backgrounds and relevant project experience may also apply.
