Job Description / Responsibility
- We are a growing and professionally managed Apparel / Textile Sourcing Company, specialized in PREMIUM DENIM, working for the European and Australian leading Brands / Retailers as their local partner in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
- To manage our continuous growth, we are now looking for some Young, Educated, Disciplined, Honest, Sincere, Hard Working, Willing to Learn, Team Player and Proactive Professionals to fill up below position- Senior Fashion Designer (Denim)
- Responsibilities:
- Design and develop fashion collections that align with the brand’s aesthetic and target audience.
- Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and conceptualize new ideas.
- Create detailed sketches, technical drawings & tech-pack using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Develop patterns and prototypes for sampling.
- Conduct thorough research on fashion trends, fabrics, and techniques.
- Work closely with head of design to ensure designs are executed accurately.
- Participate in fittings and provide feedback on garment construction and fit.
- Stay updated on fashion trends and innovations.
- Travel for market research, Shopping & buyer meetings.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Minimum Graduate in the relevant field.
- Professional degree in Fashion Design or related field.
Experience Requirements
- 7 to 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 25 to 35 years
- Proven experience in designing and developing fashion collections.
- Candidates must have experience working with INDITEX brands, particularly Zara Woman and Zara Kids, Stradivarius, Pull & Bear.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong knowledge of current fashion trends and consumer preferences.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Must be well-groomed and presentable.
- The ideal candidate must have solid experience in Buying, Trading, and Sourcing within the apparel/textile industry. Priority will be given to candidates with this background.
- Minimum 7-8 years Design experience in Denim.
- Communication skill especially in English both speaking and writing.
- Computer knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point Presentation.
