Job Description / Responsibility
- We are a leading functional & nutritional food manufacturing company seeking a dynamic, innovative, and result-oriented professional for the position of Executive (Product). The selected candidate will be responsible for new product development, formulation design, research and development (R&D), and technical documentation prior to commercial production.
- Job Responsibilities
- Develop new functional & nutritional food and products from concept to commercialization.
- Conduct market research and analyze competitor products to identify new product opportunities.
- Design and optimize product formulations based on scientific evidence, regulatory requirements, and market demand.
- Evaluate and select suitable raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials.
- Plan and execute laboratory and pilot-scale trials.
- Prepare and maintain technical documents, including Product Specifications, Master Formula, Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Product Development Reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance (QA), and Quality Control (QC) departments for successful product transfer and commercialization.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, Food Safety, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support product registration and regulatory documentation, where applicable.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Food Science & Technology
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines:
- Food Science and Technology
- Food Engineering
- Nutrition and Food Science
- Candidates with specialization in Functional & nutritional food and Product Development will be given preference.
Experience Requirements
- 1 to 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At most 40 years
- 1-2 years practical experience/ Fresher`s are also encouraged to apply
- Sound knowledge of product formulation and development processes.
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good communication and report-writing skills in English and Bangla.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
