Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Location: Current Factory – Meghdubi Bypass Road, Block A, Holding No 55/1, Ward No 40, Pubail, Gazipur city corporation 1710.
- Job Description / Responsibilities
- Financial Statements Preparation: Prepare and maintain accurate Balance Sheet (BS) and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements in accordance with IFRS/IAS.
- Financial Consolidation: Handle end-to-end financial consolidation processes for group companies or multiple business units.
- Tax & VAT Compliance: Ensure full compliance with national Tax, VAT, and custom regulations, including timely filing of returns and assessments.
- Statutory Audit Management: Liaison with external auditors to facilitate the smooth completion of statutory audit reports and address any audit queries.
- FDI Reporting: Prepare and submit Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) reports and other mandatory regulatory reporting to the Bangladesh Bank or relevant authorities.
- Software Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting entries and report generation using Tally software.
- Bill / Voucher Verification: Verify every bill/voucher and comply with VDS & TDS before making the payment.
- Financial Supervision: Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting to support corporate decision-making.
Educational Requirements
- Master of Commerce (MCom)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- M. Com / MBA in Accounting or Finance from any reputed university.
- Professional qualification such as CA (CC), CMA (Inter), CFO, ACCA, or part-qualified will be highly preferred.
- ITP certificate holders will get an advantage.
Additional Job Requirements
- Experience Requirements:
- 5 to 8 years of active experience in the corporate accounts and finance sector.
- Technical & Soft Skills:
- Software: Hands-on expertise in Tally ERP 9 / TallyPrime is mandatory.
- Core Knowledge: Deep understanding of Balance Sheet, P&L preparation, and financial consolidation techniques.
- Regulatory Laws: Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of Income Tax Act and VAT & Supplementary Duty Act of Bangladesh.
- Communication: Strong negotiation and communication skills to deal with external auditors, NBR officials, and internal management.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Financial Modeling).
