Job Description / Responsibility

Job Summary: The Student Counsellor will be responsible for guiding prospective and current students, ensuring their successful enrollment, participation, and completion of vocational training programs. The role involves student outreach, counselling, follow-up, and support throughout the training journey.
Location: Majortila, Sylhet.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel prospective students about available vocational training courses and career opportunities.
Conduct student interviews, assessments, and enrollment procedures.
Maintain regular communication with students and their families when necessary.
Monitor student attendance, participation, and progress.
Identify challenges faced by students and provide appropriate guidance and support.
Organize orientation sessions and awareness programs.
Maintain accurate student records and prepare periodic reports.
Coordinate with trainers and management to ensure student success.
Follow up with graduates regarding employment, internships, or self-employment opportunities.
Promote the organization's training programs within the community.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor degree in any discipline

Additional Job Requirements

Only Female
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong counselling, motivational, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to maintain confidential student information.
Experience in student counselling, education, training, or NGO sector will be an advantage.
Ability to work with youth from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
