Job Description / Responsibility
- Manage and coordinate the complete process of local fabric sourcing, knitting, dyeing, printing, and washing operations to ensure timely delivery and required quality standards.
- Maintain strong liaison and regular follow-up with local knitting, dyeing, printing, and washing factories/vendors to ensure smooth execution of orders.
- Monitor fabric development, production status, lab dips, strike-offs, shade approvals, fabric quality, shrinkage, GSM, color fastness, and technical specifications.
- Ensure timely booking, production follow-up, and delivery of local knitted fabrics as per merchandising and production requirements.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Commercial, Quality, and Planning teams to avoid production delays caused by fabric issues.
- Follow up on fabric dyeing, printing, and washing processes to ensure buyer requirements and quality standards are maintained.
- Troubleshoot fabric-related issues, including shade variation, knitting defects, shrinkage, fabric damage, and finishing problems.
- Monitor vendor performance, pricing, lead-time, and ensure cost-effective sourcing and process management.
- Maintain updated reports on fabric status, production progress, pending issues, and delivery schedules for management review.
- Ensure proper documentation, approvals, testing reports, and compliance requirements are maintained.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with local mills, dyeing units, washing plants, and printing vendors.
- Conduct factory visits when required to ensure production quality and timely execution.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management
Experience Requirements
- 8 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 30 to 48 years
- Only Male
- Minimum 8–10 years of practical experience in Knitting, Dyeing, Printing, Washing, and Local Fabric Management in reputed 100% export-oriented garment manufacturing company.
- Strong hands-on experience in local fabric sourcing, dyeing follow-up, fabric quality control, and vendor coordination is mandatory.

Strong communication, negotiation, reporting, and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Email Communication) is required.
