Job Description / Responsibility

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for FMCG raw materials, categories, fragrance & perfume compounds, active ingredients, petrochemicals, solvents & alcohols, surfactants, emollients & emulsifiers, preservatives, specialty chemicals, essential oils & extracts, colorants & pigments, funtional additives, industrial chemicals.
Source & evaluate local & international suppliers.
Conduct commercial negotiations.
Ensure uninterrupted raw material availability.
Monitor market trends and supply risks.
Handle RFQ/RFP and comparative analysis.
Develop alternate suppliers.
Coordinate with planning, procurement, R&D, QA and production.
Monitor supplier performance.
Support NPD sourcing database and documentation.
Identify cost-saving opportunities.
Resolve supplier-related issues.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Chemical Technical/Engineering
Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Supply Chain Management

Experience Requirements

2 to 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies, Chemical Industries

Age 27 to 36 years
Strategic sourcing & vendor management expertise.
Commercial negotiation skill.
Market analysis expertise.
Knowledge about cost optimization and risk management.
SAP/ERP knowledge.
MS excel proficiency.
Communication & stakeholder management.

Knowledge of HS code classification and import documentation.
