Head of Quality Assurance

Job Description / Responsibility

Lead and manage the entire Quality Assurance & Quality Control operations of the factory.
Ensure product quality from development stage to final shipment.
Develop and implement quality systems, SOPs, policies, and procedures in line with buyer requirements.
Monitor inline, pre-final, and final inspection activities to ensure quality compliance.
Handle buyer quality audits, technical meetings, and corrective action plans effectively.
Analyze quality data, identify root causes, and implement preventive actions.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Industrial Engineering, and Technical teams to ensure quality standards.
Ensure achievement of DHU, RFT, and shipment quality targets.
Conduct regular training and capacity development programs for QA/QC team members.
Maintain compliance with international quality standards and buyer manuals.
Ensure smooth execution of Shirt, Pant, Denim, and other woven top & bottom ladies & gents, and also children’s wear product quality processes.
Prepare quality reports and present management updates regularly.

Educational Requirements

Masters
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering / Apparel Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or related discipline Candidates having higher educational qualifications will get preference.

Experience Requirements

At least 12 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Age 40 to 50 years
Only Male
Strong leadership and team management capability.Sound knowledge of garment construction, fabric, washing, finishing, and quality systems.Excellent understanding of AQL, root cause analysis, and quality improvement tools.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Capable of handling pressure and shipment critical situations independently.Computer literacy in MS Office, reporting, and presentation preparation.Good command in both English and Bengali.
