Job Description / Responsibility
- Soorty Textiles (BD) Ltd. is inviting applications from dynamic, self-motivated, and career-oriented candidates for the position of Executive - (Sourcing & Supply Chain). Selected candidates will work closely with the Sourcing & Supply Chain team to support procurement operations, supplier coordination and supply chain activities.
- This role is designed for individuals who are eager to build a professional career in Supply Chain through practical exposure, cross-functional coordination, and hands-on operational experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Collect quotations from suppliers and prepare Comparative Statements (CS) for management review.
- Create and follow up Purchase Orders (PO) to ensure timely processing and delivery.
- Monitor shipment status and maintain delivery schedules in coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
- Maintain all procurement and billing documentation accurately.
- Coordinate with Finance and Commercial departments regarding payment, documentation, and shipment matters.
- Source and evaluate new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality service.
Educational Requirements
- B.Sc. or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- BBA or MBA in Merchandising/Supply Chain Management/Management from a reputed institution.
Experience Requirements
- 1 to 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 25 years
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel.
