Production Engineer

Job Description / Responsibility

Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of factory equipment.
Diagnose mechanical faults and minimize machine downtime.
Coordinate with foreign technicians/suppliers, especially Chinese personnel.
Ensure smooth operation of footwear manufacturing machinery and utilities.
Maintain maintenance records and machine performance reports.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Diploma in Mechanical
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering preferred (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with strong relevant experience may also apply).

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Handicraft, Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Tannery/Footwear, Trading or Export/Import

Additional Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years of practical experience in machinery operation, repair, and maintenance work.
Experience in footwear manufacturing machinery will be given preference.
Must be able to communicate in Chinese language (especially speaking and listening).
Good problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently in a factory environment.
Candidate must be sincere, responsible, and technically skilled.
Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent maintenance situations.
Language Skills: Bangla, English, Chinese (speaking & listening)
Advantage/preference will be given if a Chinese-spoken Video Resume is submitted.
