Development Merchandiser

Job Description / Responsibility

Develop all types of samples (Proto, Fit, Size Set, PP, Salesman Sample)
Study and understand buyer tech pack, sketch and specifications
Coordinate with pattern, cutting, sewing and finishing sections
Ensure sample accuracy in measurement, construction and quality
Maintain sample tracking and daily development status
Ensure on-time sample submission to merchandising/buyer
Follow up buyer comments and ensure corrections within deadline
Support merchandising team in sample-related technical issues
Maintain proper documentation of sample history and approvals

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (Pass)

Additional Job Requirements

Age 30 to 35 years
Bachelor’s Degree/Honors (Textile preferred)
5–10 years experience in Sample Development (Garments Industry)
Strong knowledge in Knit Garments Good understanding of pattern, fabric, trims and construction
Computer knowledge (MS Excel, Email, ERP preferred)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
