Trainee Officer- Mechanical Engineering

Job Description / Responsibility
- Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery and utility equipment.
- Support troubleshooting activities related to mechanical breakdowns and operational issues.
- Assist in maintaining boilers, air compressors, pumps, generators, HVAC systems, and other utility equipment.
- Monitor machinery performance and report abnormalities to senior engineers.
- Participate in installation, commissioning, and modification of mechanical equipment.
- Assist in maintaining maintenance schedules, records, and reports.
- Support spare parts inventory monitoring and maintenance planning activities.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth machine operation and minimum downtime.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and engineering compliance requirements.
- Learn and implement engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Educational Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university.
- Internship experience in manufacturing, textile, garments, power plant, or industrial sectors will be preferred.
Experience Requirements
- At least 1 year
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Additional Job Requirements
- Strong interest in industrial engineering, machinery maintenance, and manufacturing operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment.
- Basic knowledge of boilers, compressors, pumps, generators, and utility systems will be preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other engineering software will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance and equipment reliability concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and mechanical schematics.
- Strong observation and troubleshooting capability.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency maintenance requirements.
- Willingness to work in shifts and extended hours when operationally required.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards.
- Candidates with industrial project work or internship experience will receive preference.
