Job Description / Responsibility

Lead and manage all Industrial Engineering (IE) activities to improve productivity, efficiency, and operational performance in the Knit garments factory.
Conduct time study, motion study, work study, and method study to establish accurate SMV/SAM.
Prepare line layouts, line balancing, manpower allocation, and machine planning according to production requirements.
Monitor line efficiency, operator performance, WIP, and production flow to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Merchandising, and HR teams for smooth production execution.
Support merchandising and costing teams with operation breakdown, feasibility analysis, and labor costing.
Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase productivity.
Apply lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement tools to optimize factory operations.
Analyze production data and prepare IE reports, efficiency reports, and KPI performance summaries for management review.
Ensure effective capacity planning and resource utilization to achieve production targets and shipment schedules.
Train, guide, and supervise IE officers, supervisors, and production staff on IE tools and productivity improvement methods.
Ensure compliance with factory policies, buyer requirements, workplace safety, and ergonomic standards.
Support management in achieving operational excellence, cost reduction, and continuous business improvement objectives.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering

Experience Requirements

6 to 10 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Additional Job Requirements

Age 30 to 45 years
Female will be preferred
Strong knowledge of SMV calculation, line balancing, capacity planning, and lean tools
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and team management ability
Proficiency in MS Excel and IE software/tools
Good communication and reporting skills
