Job Description / Responsibility

WAL-MART EXPERIENCE IS A PRE-REQUISITE
Looking for experienced merchandiser to work with local factories in Bangladesh to expedite development, submits and approvals and support NY office.
Must Have extensive Wal-Mart USA (Not Canada) Experience and be fluent in the entire process
Daily follow up with factories, mills, wash houses, printers.
Support factories in navigating approval process
Work closely with factories on TNA and production plan to make sure it’s achievable
Ability to travel locally in Dhaka area, Gazipur, Chittagong etc
On site visits daily. Vendors are in Dhaka, Gazipur and Chittagong

Educational Requirements

Masters

Experience Requirements

5 to 10 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House

Additional Job Requirements

Age At least 30 years
Minimum 5 Yrs experience of working with Walmart US Private Label & License Orders is mandatory
10 years apparel experience with USA Market and 5 years with Wal-Mart USA Apparel experience.
Must understand Wal-Mart process , quality level and understand USA mass market timing and standards
Good English communication.
Good computer skills
Must be organized and know how to work with USA office by updating them daily and offering total visibility
