Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Summary
- The Assistant Manager – Wash Technician is responsible for developing, controlling, and monitoring all washing processes for woven garments to ensure desired quality, shade, hand feel, and performance standards. The role involves coordinating with production, quality, merchandising, and laundry teams to execute wash developments and bulk production efficiently while maintaining cost, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly washing production plans according to shipment priorities and buyer delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, QA, Maintenance, and Chemical Store teams for smooth workflow execution.
- Receive and analyze wash input plans, shipment targets, and production capacities.
- Allocate styles, quantities, machine loading, and shift plans based on wash process requirements and machine capacity.
- Monitor washing capacity utilization and ensure optimum machine efficiency.
- Follow up all garment wash processes including Enzyme Wash, Garment Dye, Pigment Wash, Acid Wash, Stone Wash, Softener Wash, Tinting, PP Spray, and Grinding flow.
- Coordinate with Lab and QA teams for sample approval, shade matching, recipe approval, and bulk production execution.
- Track production status hourly and daily against planned targets and shipment schedules.
- Identify bottlenecks, delays, machine downtime, and process issues and take corrective actions to recover production.
- Ensure smooth flow from washing input to finishing and final shipment.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, WIP reports, machine utilization reports, efficiency reports, and shipment status updates.
- Update ERP/MIS systems with accurate planning and production information.
- Maintain records of wash approvals, production plans, machine capacities, and operational status.
- Ensure adherence to buyer quality standards, SOPs, safety policies, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Work closely with QA team to minimize rewash, rejection, and production loss.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and delivery performance.

- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Dyeing Factory, Garments, Garments Accessories, Textile, Washing Factory
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 28 to 45 years
- Only Male
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in woven garment washing operations/planning in RMG sector.
- Strong knowledge of garment washing processes and production flow.
- Experience in handling buyer-focused washing production planning.
