Elevator-Escalator Installation & Service Engineer / Technician

Job Description / Responsibility
- Elevator & Escalator Installation: Perform elevator installation, machine setup, guide rail alignment, cabin installation, and commissioning works.
- Technical Servicing: Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency servicing of elevator systems.
- Fault Diagnosis: Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, inverter, controller, and sensor-related issues.
- Site Coordination: Coordinate with civil contractors, consultants, electricians, and project management teams.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all installation and servicing activities comply with workplace safety standards and company SOPs.
- Customer Support: Provide technical assistance and after-sales support to clients and building management.
- Technical Reporting: Prepare maintenance reports, installation checklists, and service documentation regularly.
- Equipment Handling: Maintain tools, testing devices, and service equipment properly.
- Project Execution: Ensure projects are completed within deadline and technical specifications.
- Teamwork: Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and technical teams for smooth operational activities.
- Special Notes:
- Must be willing to travel frequently to project and client sites.
- Ability to work at heights and under technical field conditions.
- Must have sound knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting.
- Candidates with lift/elevator field experience will get priority.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills required.
- Must be physically fit for installation and servicing activities.
Educational Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical
- Diploma in Electronics
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
- Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electro-Mechanical Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic Institute.
- Or
- B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) / Mechanical Engineering preferred for Engineer positions.
Experience Requirements
- 8 to 15 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Building & Construction Materials, Engineering Firms, Escalator/Elevator/Lift
