Project Manager/ Site Engineer

Job Description / Responsibility

Supervise erection, fabrication, equipment installation, maintenance and project work at site
Prepare and maintain daily progress reports
Handle measurement and billing work
Prepare project schedules, manpower plans and work sequences
Monitor project progress against timeline and budget
Coordinate with clients and ensure smooth communication
Manage site manpower and subcontractors
Ensure all work is carried out as per drawing and specification
Maintain strict safety compliance at site
Supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance of cement industry equipment.
Oversee critical mechanical works, including structural welding and high-pressure pipeline fabrication.
Enforce strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols and industry-standard safety practices.
Handle precise on-site measurements and manage comprehensive site billing verification.
Develop, maintain, and track project schedules to ensure milestones are met on time.
Assist in material estimation, resource allocation, and cost-control measures.
Maintain continuous presence on-site to handle daily operational challenges and emergencies.
Prepare and submit accurate Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and project documentation.
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact, ensuring strong communication and professional client handling.
Mandatory requirement to stay on-site.
Must be comfortable living in project-provided on-site accommodations.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Diploma in Mechanical in Mechanical Engineering

Experience Requirements

At least 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Cement Industry, Engineering Firms
