Job Description / Responsibility

Database Architecture & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain complex Oracle RAC and single-instance databases (11g, 12c, 19c, 21c).
Performance Tuning: Perform advanced tuning, including SQL tuning, instance tuning, and OS-level performance analysis.
Backup and Recovery: Design and implement robust backup/recovery strategies using RMAN and ensure continuous uptime via Data Guard/Active Data Guard.
Upgrades & Migrations: Lead database upgrades, patching, and migrations, including platform migrations to Exadata or Oracle Cloud (OCI).
Security & Compliance: Enforce database security policies, including user management, patching, Audit Vault & Database Firewall (AVDF) and transparent data encryption (TDE).
Automation: Develop complex Shell/Python/SQL scripts to automate routine tasks.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
Certification with RAC and Data Guard

Experience Requirements

At least 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): IT Enabled Service, Group of Companies

Additional Job Requirements

Must have experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, ideally with 24x7 production support experience.
Strong proficiency in RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, and OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager).
Experience with Linux/Unix environments and Oracle Exadata is highly preferred.
