Job Description / Responsibility

Job Context
Taufika Foods & Lovello Ice-Cream PLC, one of the leading ice cream manufacturing companies in Bangladesh, is looking for a competent and experienced professional for the position of Assistant Manager – Mechanical for its factory operations. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining smooth mechanical operations of production and utility equipment to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing activities.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of factory machinery and utilities.
Supervise mechanical maintenance activities of production lines, refrigeration systems, compressors, boilers, generators, pumps, and related equipment.
Prepare maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution.
Monitor machine performance and minimize downtime through effective troubleshooting.
Coordinate with Production, Electrical, and Quality teams for smooth plant operations.
Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure proper utilization of maintenance resources.
Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and factory operational standards.
Lead and supervise the mechanical maintenance team efficiently.
Prepare maintenance reports and documentation regularly.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Mechanical Engineering

Experience Requirements

6 to 8 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Dairy, Ice Cream, Manufacturing (FMCG)

Additional Job Requirements

Age 30 to 40 years
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering candidates with strong practical experience may also apply.
