Job Description / Responsibility
- Ensure overall electrical safety compliance of factory as per RSC, Nirapon, BNBC, and buyer requirements.
- Monitor installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, panels, DB boxes, generators, transformers, and sub-stations.
- Conduct regular inspection of electrical wiring, connections, load distribution, earthing, and circuit protection systems.
- Ensure all electrical systems comply with fire and life safety standards.
- Prepare and implement corrective action plans (CAP) related to electrical observations.
- Coordinate with RSC/Nirapon engineers, consultants, and auditors during inspections and verification visits.
- Maintain all electrical drawings, single line diagrams (SLD), load calculations, and maintenance records.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedule is properly implemented for all electrical equipment.
- Supervise electrical technicians and maintenance team activities.
- Monitor thermographic scanning, insulation resistance tests, and other safety testing activities.
- Ensure proper functioning of emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, and firefighting electrical systems.
- Support fire, electrical, and structural safety remediation activities.
- Conduct safety training and awareness programs regarding electrical and fire hazards.
- Ensure compliance with lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe work practices.
- Coordinate with Fire Safety Manager and Compliance team regarding safety improvement plans.
- Prepare reports related to electrical safety, energy consumption, and compliance status.
- Attend emergency situations and troubleshoot electrical faults immediately.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply for production and critical operations.
- Follow management instructions and support factory compliance initiatives
Educational Requirements
- Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology,Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology,Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology,Khulna University of Engineering and Technology students will get preference
- Completed 06 Months Fire Safety Manager Course.
- Training/certification on Fire Safety, Electrical Safety, and Occupational Safety preferred.
