Job Description / Responsibility
- We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimation professional to lead cost estimation activities for multiple residential and commercial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, BOQs, tender analysis, budgeting, and cost control support for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- The ideal candidate should have strong experience in high-rise residential and commercial building estimation, vendor pricing, quantity surveying, and construction costing for large-scale project portfolios.
- Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimations for residential, commercial, and mixed-use building projects.
- Analyze architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and finishing drawings/specifications.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), quantity take-off, and rate analysis.
- Develop preliminary budgets and project cost plans.
- Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Project Management, and Finance teams for estimation accuracy.
- Evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotations and conduct comparative statements.
- Maintain updated construction material pricing database and market trends.
- Support tender preparation, contract documentation, and bid evaluation.
- Monitor project cost variations and provide value engineering recommendations.
- Assist management in feasibility studies and project profitability analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, engineering practices, and cost optimization strategies.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously within deadlines.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.Sc. in Civil Engineering) from a reputed university.
- MBA or additional certification in Construction Management/Quantity Surveying will be an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- 10 to 15 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Building & Construction Materials, Real Estate
Additional Job Requirements
- Experience in reputed real estate developers or construction firms is preferred.
- Strong exposure to high-rise residential and commercial building projects.
- Experience handling multiple ongoing projects simultaneously is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market rates.
- Expertise in quantity surveying and rate analysis.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
- Sound understanding of RCC, finishing works, MEP costing, and project budgeting.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and team coordination capability.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
