Project Engineer/ Assistant Project Engineer

Job Description / Responsibility
- Plan, execute, and supervise project activities according to project schedules and specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget.
- Prepare and review project schedules, BOQs, work plans, and technical reports.
- Supervise site activities and ensure work quality meets required standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and project requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during project execution.
- Manage manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities efficiently.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for timely material and equipment delivery.
- Monitor project costs and assist in budget control and cost optimization.
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of project-related activities.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical support and recommendations.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective and preventive actions when necessary.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering
- Diploma in Engineering in Civil Engineering
- Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology,Khulna University of Engineering and Technology,Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology,Shahjalal University of Science & Technology,Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology students will get preference
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Building & Construction Materials
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 25 years
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, site supervision, and execution
- Ability to prepare progress reports, BOQs, and project documentation.
- Good communication, coordination, and team management skills
