Job Description / Responsibility

Handle buyer communication independently from sample development to shipment.
Lead and supervise the merchandising team for effective order management.
Coordinate with factories, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth execution.
Follow up on sampling, approvals, production planning, and on-time shipment.
Monitor T&A plan and ensure on-time delivery with required quality standards.
Source fabrics, trims, and accessories as per buyer requirements.
Negotiate prices with suppliers and factories to achieve target costing.
Ensure proper documentation, order files, and reporting.
Monitor production status, quality issues, and resolve problems proactively.
Maintain strong communication with buyers regarding order status and developments.
Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and industry standards.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
Master of Science (MSc) in Textile Engineering
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Apparel Merchandising
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Apparel Merchandising
Bachelor`s / Master`s in Textile Engineering or BBA/MBA in Apparel Merchandising from a reputed university.

Experience Requirements

At least 7 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Buying House

Additional Job Requirements

Age 30 to 40 years
A positive work ethic and a focus on results are required for assigned responsibilities.
The candidate must have adequate knowledge of the inquiry stage to shipment in the stipulated timeline.
Strong experience in handling knit, woven, or sweater products (as applicable).
The candidate should be technically sound in the costing & manufacturing process.
Excellent communication in English (written/verbal) & presentation skills.
Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good teamwork.
Energetic, confident and proactive.
