Job Description / Responsibility
- Ensuring Quality Control, timely handover by aggressive supervision of the construction site.
- Forecast the upcoming challenges & taking necessary measures by contingency manners.
- Having the courage to face the challenges & having solutions oriented mentality.
- Assist in bidding, tender evaluation, and feasibility studies when required.
- Planning and process improvement initiatives.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimisation.
- Prepare and review weekly/monthly project status reports for management.
- Maintain proper documentation for drawings, approvals, contracts, and compliance.
- Present progress updates and risk assessments to senior management.
- Supervise and mentor project managers, engineers, and site teams.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Facilitate coordination between civil, MEP, architectural, and other disciplines.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure timely execution.
- Review contractor performance, progress, and compliance with contract terms.
- Assist in budget preparation, cost estimation, and cost monitoring.
- Review BOQs, variations, and claims to ensure cost effectiveness.
- Monitor project expenditures and recommend corrective actions to control overruns.
- Support contract administration and vendor performance evaluation.
- Provide technical guidance on structural, civil, and infrastructure works.
- Review and approve method statements, construction procedures, and design changes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and statutory requirements.
- Resolve technical issues and site challenges efficiently.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
- Master of Science (MSc) in Civil Engineering
- Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology,Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology,Khulna University of Engineering and Technology,Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology,Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahaman Science & Technology University students will get preference
