Job Description / Responsibility

Candidate should possess strong experience in Design, Product Development, and Business Development for Woven garments with a proven track record of developing and growing international business.
Must have strong exposure to Design Development, Seasonal Trend Forecasting, Range Building, and Product Presentations for global customers.
Should be capable of creating strong seasonal collections and innovative design ranges aligned with current market trends and buyer requirements.
Ability to identify, approach, and develop new markets, buyers, and sourcing opportunities independently.
Must be well versed in development of value-added woven products to strategically shift business from China, Vietnam, and other Far East countries to Bangladesh.
Strong understanding of fabrics, washes, embellishments, trims, garment construction, and commercial product development is essential.
Should have excellent product vision with the capability to drive fashion-forward and commercially viable developments.
Candidate should have strong design sensibility with the ability to convert market trends and inspirations into commercially successful collections.
Must possess excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
Well connected with fabric mills, washing units, trim suppliers, and manufacturing bases across Bangladesh, India, China, and other sourcing regions.
A highly proactive, result-oriented, and business-driven approach towards expansion, buyer development, and customer acquisition is essential.
