Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context
- Trutex Apparel is a garment manufacturing company based in Bangladesh specializing in premium knit apparel production for international brands and wholesale customers. Our main client is Just Like Hero Ltd. & Apparel Development
- This role will mainly focus on:
- Creating operational graphics, signage, and visual materials for the garment factory
- Refreshing and standardizing technical packs (Tech Packs) for all existing Just Like Hero styles
- Supporting product development, production, packaging, compliance, and branding visuals
- The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge in apparel technical design, excellent Adobe Illustrator skills, and understanding of garment manufacturing processes.
- Job Responsibilities
- Technical Pack & Apparel Development
- Refresh, update, and standardize existing Tech Packs for all Just Like Hero styles
- Create professional technical flat sketches using Adobe Illustrator
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials), measurement specs, grading charts, and construction details
- Update artwork placements, labeling instructions, and packaging details
- Organize and maintain Tech Pack file libraries and version control
- Coordinate with merchandising, production, and sample teams to ensure technical accuracy
- Prepare print-ready and production-ready files for manufacturing
- Factory Graphics & Operational Visuals
- Design factory posters, safety signage, production boards, SOP visuals, and compliance graphics
- Create visual management materials for sewing, cutting, QC, warehouse, and finishing departments
- Design warehouse labels, rack labels, carton markings, barcode layouts, and packaging graphics
- Prepare training visuals and internal communication materials
- Support buyer visit presentations and factory branding materials
- Packaging & Trim Artwork
- Design hangtags, care labels, woven labels, neck labels, and packaging artwork
- Prepare shipping marks, carton print layouts, and polybag artwork
- Ensure all files meet printing and production requirements
- File & System Management
- Maintain organized file structure for all design assets
- Ensure editable source files are properly archived and version controlled
- Export files in AI, PDF, EPS, PNG, and SVG formats when required
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Apparel Manufacturing, or related field preferred
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House, Design/Printing/Publishing, Garments, Textile
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 20 to 40 years
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
- Good understanding of apparel Tech Packs and garment construction
- Familiar with apparel measurement specifications and grading
- Understanding of printing methods such as screen print, embroidery, DTG, DTF, and heat transfer
- Knowledge of garment trims, labels, packaging, and production workflow
- Strong organizational and file management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across multiple styles
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is preferred
- Experience with fashion technical flats and vector artwork is highly preferred
- Basic understanding of knit garment manufacturing is an advantage
