Job Description / Responsibility
  • Job Context
  • Grameen Tubes & Bulbs Co. is looking for an experienced, dynamic and result-driven Head of Sales to lead nationwide sales operations, dealer development and market expansion.
  • The candidate will be responsible for building a strong sales organization, increasing market penetration, developing distributors and driving sustainable revenue growth across Bangladesh.
  • Employment Status: Full-Time/Contractual
  • Job Location: Head Office (Dhaka) with nationwide market travel
  • Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Develop and execute national sales strategy to achieve company sales targets.
  • Lead and manage RSM, ASM, TSM, and field sales teams.
  • Build and expand dealer, distributor and retail network nationwide.
  • Set monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets with proper monitoring.
  • Create route plans and market visit systems for field teams.
  • Monitor team productivity, reporting and KPI performance.
  • Design sales policies, incentive structures and trade programs.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities and pricing strategy.
  • Improve product placement and visibility across key markets.
  • Strengthen collection, credit control and payment recovery.
  • Work closely with management on expansion plans and forecasting.
  • Recruit, train and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and business review presentations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and channels for growth.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key dealers and distributors.
  • Ensure operational discipline and execution excellence.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Business, Marketing or relevant discipline preferred)
Experience Requirements
  • 10 to 15 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Wholesale, Retail Store, Trading or Export/Import, Direct Selling/Marketing Service Company, Indenting Firm, Importer

Additional Job Requirements
  • Age 35 to 50 years
  • Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Sales
  • Minimum 5 years in leadership/managerial role
  • Experience in one or more industries preferred: Electrical | Lighting | Switch & Socket | Cable | Consumer Durables | Building Materials | FMCG Distribution
  • Additional Requirements
  • Strong leadership and team-building capability
  • Proven record of achieving aggressive sales growth
  • Experience managing nationwide dealer networks
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong reporting and analytical ability
  • Willing to travel across Bangladesh
