Executive/Sr. Executive - Plant Maintenance

Job Description / Responsibility
- Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for cutting, sewing, knitting, dyeing, finishing, utility, and production machinery to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Monitor machine performance regularly and take immediate corrective action to minimize downtime and increase production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, gearbox, motor, compressor, boiler, and utility-related issues effectively.
- Plan and supervise machine installation, commissioning, calibration, overhauling, relocation, and modification works as per production requirements.
- Ensure proper maintenance of drives, motors, bearings, belts, filters, lubrication systems, pumps, valves, and other critical machine components.
- Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, maintenance records, breakdown reports, and spare parts consumption reports.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, HR, Compliance, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth factory operations and timely maintenance support.
- Control maintenance costs by reducing machine downtime, improving equipment reliability, and ensuring optimal use of spare parts and resources.
- Lead, train, and develop maintenance team members while ensuring discipline, workplace safety, compliance, and continuous skill improvement.
- Analyze recurring technical problems, implement root cause analysis (RCA), and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and machine efficiency.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile
Additional Job Requirements

- Strong knowledge of industrial production machinery and utility systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency machine breakdowns.
- Good leadership and team supervision capability.
- Sound knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
- Familiarity with safety, compliance, and factory operational standards.
- Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.
- Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in a garments/textile manufacturing environment will be preferred.
