Job Description / Responsibility

Plan and manage daily transportation operations for feed, DOC, Frozen foods and raw material delivery.
Sourcing vehicles (i.e. Trucks, Pickups, Covered Van, Freezer Van etc.) and negotiating with transport vendors and service providers to achieve cost-effective solutions.
Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers, dealers, and farms.
Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, route planning, and transportation costs.
Supervise drivers, transport staff, and third-party transport providers as and when required.
Maintain transportation schedules and ensure smooth coordination with production, warehouse, and sales teams.
Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and compliant with legal and safety requirements.
Monitor GPS tracking systems and optimize routes to improve operational efficiency.
Handle transport-related documentation, permits, insurance, and regulatory compliance.
Investigate transportation issues, delays, accidents, or customer complaints and take corrective actions.
Prepare transportation reports, cost analyses, and performance evaluations.
Implement health, safety, and environmental policies within transport operations.
Ensure proper loading and unloading procedures to prevent product damage and wastage.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management

Experience Requirements

3 to 7 years
