Job Description / Responsibility
- Position Overview
- We are looking for a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the full spectrum of financial operations in our Garments & Textiles organization. The role requires strong expertise in accounting, costing, compliance, and financial reporting in an export-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Formulate company budgets and monitor variances across departments.
- Analyze manufacturing costs including raw materials, labor, and factory overhead.
- Evaluate pre-costing and post-costing for garment export orders.
- Manage daily cash flow, fund allocation, and banking operations.
- Oversee commercial banking activities like Letter of Credit (L/C) and export bills.
- Ensure compliance with local Income Tax, VAT, and Customs laws.
- Supervise vendor payments, accounts payable, and procurement bills.
- Monitor customer billing, accounts receivable, and export collections.
- Reconcile factory inventory, raw materials, and finished goods stock.
- Coordinate with internal, external, and government auditors.
- Lead, train, and evaluate the performance of the accounting team.
- Present financial performance reports directly to top management.
Educational Requirements
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
- Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Accounting
- Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Finance
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from well reputed University.
- Professional certification like CA (cc), CMA, ACCA, MPA(DU) or CPA is highly preferred.

- Solid experience working specifically within the Garments, Textile, or Buying House industry.
- Technical Skills & Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of Income Tax, VAT, Customs regulations, and Government Export Incentives.
- Hands-on experience with ERP software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel.
- Soft Skills & Leadership
- Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of accounts executives.
- Excellent analytical mind with high attention to financial details.
- Good communication and negotiation skills in both Bengali and English.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight financial reporting deadlines.
