Job Description / Responsibility
- Prepare SLD, GA, layout, and other electrical drawings for substation systems
- Ensure design and materials comply with technical specifications, BOQ, safety standards, and project timelines
- Review technical specifications, BOQ, drawings, and compliance requirements
- Ensure procurement alignment with approved materials and project specifications
- Identify and report deviations, non-compliance, and technical gaps in vendor submissions
- Prepare technical comparison statements for vendor / suppliers’ evaluation
- Review vendor datasheets, catalogues, and technical submittals
- Coordinate with vendors for technical clarification and compliance alignment
- Support preparation of material approval submissions to consultant/client
- Maintain approved vendor list, material tracking, and documentation records
- Ensure compliance with project requirements
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of 11/0.4 kV substations
- Handle up to 4 MVA dry type transformers including installation and testing
- Manage up to 3 MVA diesel generator systems, including synchronization and load testing and commissioning activities
- Prepare site progress reports and project documentation
- Support sourcing of substation equipment including:
- 11/0.4 kV substation systems
- Up to 4 MVA dry type transformers
- Up to 3 MVA diesel generators
- HT/LT switchgear (VCB, ACB, panels)
- Protection relays, CT/PT, and accessories
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements
- At least 7 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Airport Service, Electric Wire/Cable, Engineering Firms, Technical Infrastructure
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 28 years
- Only Male
- Strong knowledge of EM systems and airport standards.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings.
- Good coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capability under site conditions.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal). Chinese language knowledge is an added advantage.
