Senior Student Counselor / Business Development Lead (Study Abroad)

Job Description / Responsibility
- We are looking for a highly proactive and entrepreneurial professional who can take ownership of our student recruitment business and drive it independently. This role goes beyond counseling — it requires someone who can build, execute, and scale student acquisition strategies while structuring and optimizing overall business processes.
- Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of student acquisition and revenue growth
- Develop and execute innovative strategies to attract students for studying abroad
- Actively generate leads through market visits, partnerships, networking, and personal connections
- Build strong relationships with schools, colleges, coaching centers, and key stakeholders
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach
- Design and implement structured processes for lead management, follow-ups, and conversions
- Drive aggressive sales efforts to meet and exceed monthly targets
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, seminars, and outreach programs
- Optimize the student journey from inquiry to enrollment to improve conversion rates
- Provide accurate guidance on study destinations, universities, courses, visa processes, and admission requirements
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, and adapt strategies accordingly
- Maintain data, reports, and performance tracking for continuous improvement
- Take initiative in improving the company’s branding, positioning, and visibility
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing, Business Studies
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s preferred)
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 6 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Immigration and Education Consultancy Service

- 3–6 years of experience in study abroad counseling, education consultancy, or sales-driven roles
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Self-driven, resourceful, and highly proactive mindset
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong network within the education sector is a significant advantage
- Willingness to travel frequently for market visits and business development activities
