Assistant Manager - HR, Admin And Compliance

Job Description / Responsibility
- Talent Management: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new staff members.
- Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate HR files, employee logbooks, and recruitment documentation ensuring compliance with labor laws.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement HR policies aligned with organizational goals and legal requirements.
- Payroll & Attendance: Manage monthly payroll processing, integrating attendance, leave, and deductions.
- Performance & Training: Support annual appraisals, probation evaluations, and implement employee training programs based on development needs.
- Employee Relations: Act as a primary point of contact for staff, handling grievances, workplace issues, and disciplinary actions.
- Experience as a 'Head of HR & Admin' in any reputed organization will be considered an additional advantage.
- Sound knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law, social compliance standards, and international certification requirements.
- Ability to coordinate with government authorities, buyers, and audit representatives.
- Excellent command of English and Bangla in both written and spoken communication.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and the ability to work under pressure.
Educational Requirements
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Diagnostic Centre, Healthcare/Lifestyle product, Medical Equipment, Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies
Additional Job Requirements

- Experience: Experience in HR management within the Medical Equipment & Chemical Reagent Sales, Pharmaceuticals, Diagnostic Centers, or Retail Pharmacy chains is highly preferred.
- Technical Recruitment: Strong expertise in recruiting technical and specialized roles such as Biomedical Engineers, Product Specialists, and Registered 'A-Grade' Pharmacists.
- KPI & Incentives: Proven experience in designing and managing KPI frameworks and incentive structures for medical sales and service engineering teams.
- Retail Pharmacy Operations: Hands-on experience in managing retail pharmacy/store operations, including shift/roster scheduling, weekend duties, and overtime calculation.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Good understanding of DGDA (Director General of Drug Administration) guidelines regarding personnel requirements for Model Pharmacies and drug licensing.
- Staff Training: Capability to organize continuous customer service, soft skills, and compliance training for retail and field staff.
- Leadership & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills to manage both corporate office teams and retail branch staff.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for HR data management, analytics, and professional reporting.
