Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context:
- SKF Sourcing Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled, experienced and performance-oriented Industrial Production Engineer for its Battery Manufacturing Division. The ideal candidate must have strong practical experience in Easy Bike & Motorcycle Battery manufacturing operations, production control and factory process management.
- Job Responsibilities :
- Supervise and control overall battery manufacturing production activities efficiently
- Ensure smooth, uninterrupted and target-oriented production operation
- Monitor production quality, operational efficiency and manufacturing performance
- Manage complete Easy Bike & Motorcycle Battery production process professionally
- Ensure proper utilization of raw materials, machinery and factory manpower
- Implement production planning, process development and productivity improvement strategies
- Coordinate with Quality Control, Engineering, Maintenance and Supply Chain departments
- Analyze production data and prepare daily, weekly and monthly production reports
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions immediately
- Ensure factory discipline, operational safety and compliance standards
- Minimize production downtime, operational loss and material wastage
- Maintain production schedules and ensure timely completion of production targets
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production
- B.Sc in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Diploma in Engineering candidates with extensive industrial experience may also apply

- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5-10 years practical experience in Battery Manufacturing Industry
- Must have direct experience in Easy Bike & Motorcycle Battery Production Plant
- Strong knowledge of Lead Acid Battery manufacturing process is mandatory
- Experience in industrial factory production management is highly preferred
- Additional Requirements:
- Strong practical knowledge of Industrial Production System and Manufacturing Process
- Expertise in Production Planning, Capacity Planning and Process Optimization
- Skilled in Production Line Balancing and Productivity Improvement Techniques
- Strong understanding of Lead Acid Battery Assembly, Formation, Charging and Finishing Process
- Ability to monitor machine efficiency, production output and operational performance
- Experience in handling production manpower, shift management and factory floor supervision
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and Continuous Improvement Process
- Capable of reducing rejection rate, production wastage and operational downtime
- Strong understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures
- Ability to coordinate preventive maintenance and machine troubleshooting activities
- Skilled in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and production problem-solving techniques
- Experience in preparing MIS Reports, Production Reports and Operational Documentation
- ERP Software operational knowledge will be considered an added advantage
- Strong analytical, reporting and decision-making capability required
- Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve aggressive production targets
- Self-motivated, disciplined, hardworking and result-oriented mindset mandatory
