Job Description / Responsibility
- Position Summary: Raju Law, one of the top immigration law firms in the USA, is looking for Trainee Assistant Case Managers to work in different departments. We are seeking highly organized and motivated Trainee Assistant Case Managers to assist with a variety of tasks related to immigration case handling. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and effectively prioritizing assignments. Strong organizational skills are critical to maintaining and updating legal files, managing case documents, and documenting all relevant information accurately. The Trainee Assistant Case Manager will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues and positively contribute to the team environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional multitasking abilities, consistently meet deadlines, and efficiently prioritize their workflow. Excelling in these areas is crucial for achieving success in these positions.
- Location: Remote (work from home)
- Employment Type: Full-time (5 days per week)
- Working Time: US Eastern Standard Time 9 am – 5 pm
- Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and filing of US immigration petitions and applications.
- Conduct research on various regulations and procedures related to US immigration.
- Draft correspondence and communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information.
- Organize and maintain case files, track deadlines, and ensure that all required documents are collected and filed in a timely manner.
- Support attorneys, case managers, and paralegals in preparing letters, affidavits, and other legal documents.
- Monitor changes in immigration laws and policies that may affect clients and cases.
- Participate in client meetings and take notes to assist in case management.
- Writing mini blogs on employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant visas in the USA.
Educational Requirements
- Master of Law (LLM)
- Master of Social Science (MSS)
- Master of Development Studies (MDS)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Masters
- Master’s degree preferred in the area of Legal Studies/Social Sciences or relevant areas.
Experience Requirements
- At most 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Immigration and Education Consultancy Service, Immigration/Visa Processing, Law Firm, Multinational Companies, Research Organization
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Additional Job Requirements
- 6-24 months of post-baccalaureate full-time professional experience.
- Have a good understanding of, or strong interest in, legal concepts, principles, and terminologies.
- Have an excellent research skill to gather relevant legal information from various online sources.
- Able to analyze complex legal issues, identify relevant precedents, and apply legal principles to real-life scenarios.
- Ability to think logically, spot legal implications, and propose well-reasoned arguments.
- Have strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet), Adobe PDF Software.
- Tech-savvy and open to adopting new technological initiatives for case and task management.
- Ability to work under minimum remote supervision.
- Own a laptop/desktop and smartphone with a reliable and fast internet connection.
