Job Description / Responsibility
- A well-reputed leading cosmetics & toiletries manufacturing industry is looking for business-oriented and experienced professionals. The role primarily involves both local and foreign purchase & procurement, along with strategic sourcing, vendor management, inventory control, logistics coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
- Key Responsibilities
- Review and discuss purchase requisitions with concerned departments
- Identify, evaluate, and develop local and international suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and payment terms
- Prepare and manage purchase orders for both local and foreign procurement
- Coordinate import activities including LC opening, shipping documents, customs clearance, and delivery timelines
- Monitor procurement costs, control budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement
- Prepare contingency plans to mitigate supply risks and ensure continuity during disruptions
- Coordinate with production, sales, finance, and logistics teams for smooth supply chain operations
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Masters
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Preferred)
- PGD in Supply Chain Management (SCM) will be given preference
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Healthcare/Lifestyle product, Cosmetics/Toiletries/Personal Care, Manufacturing (FMCG), Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies

- Additional Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in local & foreign purchase, preferably in cosmetics, toiletries, or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries
- Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills
- Experience in foreign procurement, import documentation, LC procedures, customs clearance, and supplier coordination
- Ability to manage complex sourcing activities and deliver results under tight timelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and data-driven procurement tools will be an advantage
