Job Description / Responsibility

- Junction Bangladesh is a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) of iSocial, a policy-driven, for-profit social enterprise delivering impact through data-driven insights, strategic advocacy, and innovative digital solutions.
- iSocial operates through three Strategic Business Units:
- DataSense – Research, policy, and data analytics arm.
- Junction Bangladesh – Venture studio and ecosystem-building unit supporting startups and enterprises.
- iSkill – A digital platform transforming TVET institutions through blended learning
- Junction Bangladesh supports enterprise and startup founders through a demand-based venture studio model, focusing on quality over quantity. The unit works to strengthen R&D capacity, support enterprises in accessing finance, enhance compliance readiness, protect intellectual property, and build sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystems.
- JOB OVERVIEW
- Junction Bangladesh is seeking a proactive, strategic, and resourceful professional to serve as Program Manager. The selected candidate will lead the implementation and growth of Junction’s entrepreneurship and ecosystem-building initiatives under the strategic direction of iSocial.
- The role requires strong leadership, coordination, analytical thinking, and execution capability to manage multi-stakeholder programs and ensure high-quality project delivery.
- JOB NATURE AND MODALITY
- Full-time (Sunday through Thursday)
- Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote weekly). This may be adjusted based on project requirements.
- Field visit outside Dhaka required.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic & Business Development
- Develop and refine Junction Bangladesh’s business plan aligned with iSocial’s overall strategy
- Contribute to service innovation and revenue generation strategies
- Conduct ecosystem mapping, feasibility analysis, and market research
- Program & Project Management
- Prepare and implement project-specific work plans
- Manage incubation, acceleration, and capacity-building programs
- Oversee projects secured through competitive bidding
- Ensure quality implementation, monitoring, documentation, and reporting
- Communication & Visibility
- Lead digital and offline launch campaigns
- Manage Junction’s website content structure and optimization
- Develop and manage official Facebook and LinkedIn platforms
- Ensure consistent branding aligned with iSocial
- Operational & Coordination Support
- Maintain organized documentation and workflow systems
- Coordinate with internal SBUs and external partners
- Facilitate HR and recruitment processes including assessment sessions, FGDs, and interviews
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Masters
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management Information Systems, Project Management, Marketing, or related disciplines.
Additional Job Requirements
- KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–3 years of experience in project management, entrepreneurship development, or communications roles (experience in ecosystem programs preferred)
- Strong ability to plan, execute, and monitor multi-stakeholder projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital collaboration tools
- Flexibility to travel and manage activities across multiple locations outside Dhaka.
