Job Description / Responsibility
  • JOB TITLE - COMPLIANCE IN-CHARGE
  • About Us: Ocean Gate Ltd. is a reputed sweater Liaison office in Bangladesh, specializing in high-quality sweater production with innovative designs and sustainable materials.
  • Employment Status: Full-time (5.5 days a week)
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Department Leadership: Lead and manage the compliance and sustainability department.
  • Audit & Sustainability: Prepare factories for buyer audits and manage HIGG Index assessments and reporting.
  • Action Planning: Develop and execute strategic Action Plans to ensure legal, social, and environmental compliance.
  • CAP Implementation: Implement Corrective Action Plans (CAP) and conduct safety and compliance training for factory teams.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with foreign buyers, internal merchandising teams, local auditors, and authorities.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor/Honors
Experience Requirements
  • 5 to 7 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House, Garments, Sweater Industry

Additional Job Requirements
  • Age 30 to 36 years
  • Only Male
  • Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in compliance within the RMG/Sweater sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Mandatory expertise in ICS Audits and HIGG Index.
  • Strong ability to develop and monitor compliance action plans.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
