Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context
- ACI Motors is seeking a dynamic and experienced DGM / Head of Operations for its Medical Equipment Business. The role is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end operations of the business, ensuring seamless coordination across all operational functions to drive efficiency, growth, and overall business performance.
- Major responsibilities are:
- Lead and manage overall operations for the Medical Equipment business, ensuring seamless coordination across sales, service, supply chain, regulatory, warehousing, and installation teams.
- Oversee end-to-end operational processes—from importation and inventory planning to distribution, installation, commissioning, and after-sales service—ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Drive operational strategies to strengthen market presence, customer satisfaction, and long-term business sustainability in the medical equipment segment.
- Monitor and optimize operational efficiency, cost control, and resource utilization to achieve business targets, service excellence, and profitability.
- Ensure effective channel and partner management, including distributors, service partners, and key institutional customers (hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers).
- Analyze market trends, regulatory changes, competitor activities, and operational performance to support strategic planning and informed decision-making.
- Build and nurture a high-performance culture by setting clear KPIs, strengthening accountability, and developing team capabilities across functions.
- Coordinate closely with principals, regulatory bodies, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure smooth execution of product launches, tenders, projects, and operational plans.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Biomedical / Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial).
- MBA / Masters in Operations, Supply Chain, or General Management.
Experience Requirements
- 10 to 15 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Diagnostic Centre, Medical Equipment, Group of Companies, Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 38 to 45 years
- 8 – 12 years in medical equipment / healthcare technology / diagnostics / pharmaceutical devices
- 5+ years in a managerial or leadership role, handling multi-functional teams (operations, service, supply chain, regulatory, projects)
